Priesthood & Prophetic : Part 5
Desire the Gift, Reveal Jesus
Scripture References
Primary text •1 Corinthians 14:1 •Acts 1:8
Other references •1 Corinthians 4 •Psalm 19 •Hebrews 4:13 •Lamentations 3
Overview
The session opened with the reminder that life in the Spirit is meant to be normal for the church. 1 Corinthians 14:1 commands believers to pursue love and “earnestly desire” spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, and Acts 1:8 promises power to witness. From childhood stories of seeing in the Spirit through hard-won lessons about character, Laura called everyone to covet prophetic ministry, steward it well, and use it to unlock hearts for Jesus rather than elevate self.
